2004 dodge ram shakes when letting off gas

Pinion nut came off in rear end now has a bad viberation only when leting
off gas

How does a pinion nut come off? There is a torque speck for this nut,.. I'd have to look it up. May want to check the u-joint also or just replace it.

Thinking about this more, you may have damage to the pinion bearing. The rear ends in vehicles are precisely set up. It would be worth wild to have some one inspect it who knows how a rear end is set up.
