What happened if got my truck completely wet

Probably engine damage from the water, hydrostatic lockups can damage a lot of engine components, piston, rods and blocks. Plus you have probably got water in all the gear boxes and differentials. Not to mention the electronics that have subjected to water. If you have full coverage insurance you may want to contact them, it could be a total loss.

You know those vehicles that have a snorkel extending above the windshield? They're built to go into water about three feet deep. Yours isn't. Cost to rectify this mistake will exceed the value of the truck. If you have insurance, have them assess it and I'm sure they will total out your truck. Then go shopping.

Remove the spark plugs and crank the engine. Most likely you'll see water shoot out of the spark plug holes. Once you get the water out of the cylinders put the spark plugs back in and try to start it. Check all of your fuses. Water conducts electricity so there's a good chance several are blown. If you manage to get it running again you'll need to change all the fluids. Personally I wouldn't put too much money into this vehicle. It wasn't built to drive through a river and it's nearly 20 years old. Live and learn! Jim
