2006 dodge ram 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a 2006 dodge 1500 mega cab 2wd.  We need to replace the fuel tank
but dodge doesn't make the 34 gallon tank any more.  What would it take to
change it to a 26 gallon or 35? Or possibly put in the same tank that the 2007
mega cabs are running?

Old tanks can be refurbished , shop on line for tanks there's usually pics to give an idea
