three causes.... low on freon fan will not cycle. Motor locked up on cooling fan Fan Relay bad, these had resistor blocks.

do you mean the fan in the cabin or under the hood?

My van keeps registering hot and overheats quickly!, Changed thermostat and radiator as well,
