will the 3.3l motor from a 1996 work in a 2000 town and country?

i have a 1996 with a good motor and a 2000 with a blown motor are they interchangable

Is the old engine a 3.3 as well? if so you should not have a problem getting it in, you may need to do some rewiring however.
