2002 Town & Country Drivers Window

Asked by JHM Sep 13, 2007 at 08:29 AM about the 2002 Chrysler Town & Country

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Drivers window of 2002 Town & Country operates occassionally. Replaced window switch on drivers door. Window operated fine for about 4 days. Yesterday, it got stuck again.

Once in a while when the window gets stuck and I activate the switch, I believe I hear a click (maybe just me). When the window does operates there is no delay or hesitation in speed, etc. which leads me to believe the problem may be electrical. Is there a circuit breaker or something else that might be tripping ? possible short ? or something else. Anyone else have this problem ?

This almost certainly sounds like a regulator issue. The regulators are integral to the motor assembly on these and are replaced as a unit. They cost around $200 plus labor to replace. Take it from a guy who was a service advisor for Dodge. ;)
