Compression Test

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

PT Cruiser 2006, 1cyl. has compress. of 160lb,? or normal & other 3 have
~60lb., is it the head or? What tests can be done by my mechanic?

Yup, 60 too low. A mechanic would then either pressurize the cooling system, or do a wet test on the low cylinders to help in the diagnoses.

And ask you if you had any coolant loss, and probably look at the oil for signs of coolant.

My valve spring tools are not working to remove what I need to remove to finish my valve job on this head for my PT Cruiser any suggestions how to do this job
