when pressure is applied to the gas pedal
car dies out, Fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel
injectors, icm and ignition coil pack have all
been replaced and car still won't run
contemplating on new opti spark and rewire

so you still dont know if itds a fuel or elect. problem??..whats the dead head pressure. you changed the maf/fuel filter/cleaned the injectors/have pulse power to the injectors..and no vacuum leaks??????

Im with Jim, It would be a good idea to scan the computer for codes. This should be an obd1 car. you can google how to scan an obd1 computer for codes, not hard. Had a chevy Lumina that acted this way ended up being the tps like jim said. would be a code 22 if that were the case.
