My 95 Buick Regal Custom all brake lights won't come on.

Asked by mcilhargey Dec 17, 2014 at 12:35 PM about the 1995 Buick Regal

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the brake light switch, checked the fuse..it's fine, indicators work, all tail lights work when head lamps are on; yet the brake lights won't turn on.  Any suggestions to the problem?

Might be the turn signal switch in the steering wheel. I have the same problem with mine. Brake lights don't work but tail lights do. If you pull back on your turn signal like your turning your brights on, your brake lights should work if this is the problem. I think the part is around $60. It does require takin off the steering wheel though.

This worked on my 1994 Buick. The brake lights were not working, but the tail lights are. I turned the car on & pushed on the brakes then pulled back like turning on the brights and THE BRAKES WORKED!!!! HOW AMAZING!!!
