Brake lights not working

My brake lights stopped working and no one can figure out why. The tail lights work both
signal lights work everything work but not the brake lights. Checked fuses they are good
changed the thing under the brake petal still nothing all the bulbs are good as well. Its
been about 2 months and I really need brake lights

If you have a center light in the middle of the back window, I heard if that bulb is burned out or anything is wrong with it, the trunk tail lights will not work. Kind of like that one bad bulb in the whole string of X-mas lights.
