2000 buick lesabre shut down randomly while driving, has to sit for a whjle before it starts, sometimes wont start after being ignition is shut off and car sits for a while no eng, lite on, no codes present. have replaced fuel pump and ignition control module, car has 157,000 miles

Be careful, we had the same problem, and tried to start it again it caught on fire! Some with the throttle body not sure, but the thing burn up back to the dash board.. total loss. Contacted Buick about it they had a recall on the 2000 Lasabre some time ago... Settle with them for $1,180.00 We never had it shut down, but had the issue when try to start it.

My first long distance guess would be the coil module but if that is what you have already replaced then I don't have another guess.
