Is the owner asking too much money for the car?

Asked by Evan Feb 07, 2021 at 12:46 AM about the 2006 Acura TL

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I've been looking into buying an Acura TL. I tend to like the
2006 model years and after some research believe it to be
the most reliable year. Recently found a TL on FB
marketplace going for $6,500 with 128,000 miles and
automatic transmission. Should I look into this? Or is this
a bad deal? Asking too much? I'm looking for a sporty car
to last me thru college.

I always liked that model TL. The price is on the high side for a private seller, about right for a dealer. Car values are very high right now due to Covid, so the price guides online are not up to date. I'd try to get it for $5500 and have a mechanic check it over before you buy it. That way you will know if you are getting into a money pit. It might cost you around $70, but it's worth in the end. Good Luck.

Compare it to other cars for sale. In this crazy car market comparing cars and prices is the way to get the best deal you can.
