Our 2007 Prius front grill is falling out, how important is it to keep the grill?

I am uncertain about the necessity of the grille but it will look better with it and protect your engine behind it from big stuff anyway. So I suggest getting some heavy duty zip ties at any car department or store (Walmart, Lowes, Schucks, O'Reiley's, Amazon) and tying it on all around each of the four corners and sides. They don't show and hold tight.
