Changed the thermostat twice now registering cold when before had some heat. Changed that a hose vacuum. Now not heating or running right acts like its not getting fuel then rpm registers 2000

sounds like you have air still trapped in the cooling system making the coolant temp sensor receive a false reading which can cause a fuel issue.
The idle air control valve could be faulty affecting the idle, but would not affect heater. Let the engine idle until it reaches operating temperature then remove the return line from the heater core coming from the back firewall to see if you have coolant coming through. If not, the core could be clogged. If no discharge, remove the inlet line to the core and see if coolant is getting to the core.
