I have a '97 F150 2WD and a '99 F150 with 4WD.
Are the wheel interchangeable?

As long as the bolt patterns are the same. Some older trucks had a 5 lug pattern for 2wd and 6 for 4x4.

Ok that makes it easy, lol. Are the rims the same size? If they are you should have no problem swapping them out.

No, they aren't. Looks like 16 on the 99 and larger ones on the 97. The 97 is not onsite for inspection at the moment.

If the rims are only a inch or 2 off in size and the bolt pattern is the same you will be ok. Your speedometer may be off a few MPH but that will only happen if the over all circumference of the tires are drastically different. Now my head hurts from the math and science lesson I just gave you, LOL. I hope this makes since to you.
