You can't simply replace parts, and hope for the best, unless you have money to no end. Get the truck scanned for trouble codes...and look to items that cause it to "run lean"...coolant temp sensor, MAF, vacuum leaks, etc.

maybe the catalytic is clogged , have someone rev the motor and see if a healthy blast of exhaust comes out the back
