i had someone install a stereo in my 99 ford f150 and he touched 2 wires together and my truck was running but i heard the starter sounding like it was trying to start i shut the truck off it started

door chime is on constantly have not
started yet as battery was not

well i checked all the fuses made sure wasnt blown then while waiting for a jump start i started taking one fuse out at at till the dinging stopped got lucky on second fuse. Got the truck started dinging stopped and go to drive it and it wont go out of park so i put the fuse back in to see if that help and it dinged 3-4 times then stopped i went to put it in drive it went so i guess it just had to reprogram it brain, idk but thanks for the help.
