2000 F 150 4.2 Automatic transmission compatible with 1998 thru 2001 question

i found a 1999 transmission also a 4.2 truck. is it a simple bolting up or do any
of the internals or wiring need to be changed?

You have a 99 transmission. Take the model number off the transmission. Now, whatever vehicle you want to stick it in, plug the model number into the net and do a search. Like: specifications on 2003 F-150. The available transmissions will be listed. You can compare it with what you already have.

Question? Does 1998 ford f 150 V6 4.2 transmission have the same transmission as a 2000 f 150 V6 4.2 automatic?
