does anyone know of a good place to look for a used engine for a 2000 ford
f150 5spd manual trans.  engine only. and will the pcu ecu etc all match up if its
out of the same year make model trim pkg and trans type? im in illinois

You always take a chance on used equipment, if you can get a warranty on one then you might get a good one. As far as the the plug and play the engine numbers must match exactly.
