alternator and wiring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

as I was driving the voltage meter went down on
my dashboard then sue Nike was without battery
or alternator I replace both and within a month or
actually couple weeks the post on the alternator
have melted off along with the nut leaving the
wiring dangling there now I must find the solution
before hooking up the new alternator anyone have
any ideas what could cause this

You are suing Nike? Good luck but I think you need a mechanic.
