Car wont stay started

The truck haven't been started in over a month
because we took the battery off to use on a other
car... but now we put a battery back on the truck
and it only cranks because of spraying carburetor
spray on it but then it shuts off.. wy think is
wrong?? It was fine all b4 now

So you say spraying carb cleaner or starting fluid down the throat it will start then die? If this is the case it may be a bad fuel pump, or power is not getting to the fuel pump. Turn the key on and see if you can hear the pump run.
