I would love to get my hands on a 74 civic. Had one in high school 30 years ago and would get 45 to 55 mpg. If you know of anyone who owns one and wants to sell it. let me know at mjcummins@usa.net

From the horse's mouth! I found this in a 1974 issue of Playboy. I think the saddest part is that today's Civic average is 32 mpg. Is that as far as we've come in nearly 40 years?! Shameful.
