Question type: General

I just bought a 64 T-bird, and when I try to go in reverse, it kills. The choke also seems to be sticking.

Is the problem just in reverse? Or if you put it in Drive does it stall as well? if the problem is universal, in that it happens in reverse or drive, the carb may be clogged and starving the engine of fuel. But that is a guess.
