82 vette surges while driving

I'd look at the connection to the vacuum advance, and the centrifugal advance, if you can take the time to get in there, but '82 offers a spaghetti of vacuum hoses ALL which will fail...so start the vacuum hose leading to the vacuum advance, and we'll take it from there if this doesn't cure the surging.
