if you getting fuel - spark, could be your timeing has jumped, may need a new timeing set, pull #1 spark plug, get piston up on compresson stroke, remove top of dis cap,see if rotor button is pointing to # 1,if not, jumped time.

I checked the time last night and it will fire and run for about thirty seconds then it acts like its starving for air and cuts out and dies then it has to sit for about an hour then it wil start again and do the same thing. Cap rotor wires, almost everything from distibutor to fuel pumps is brand new and all tested before it was put on.

have the DIS modugel checked,is a gray box shaped part probley on top of ac,unplug it 2-5.5 mm bolts to remove.if this is bad,it will cause the problem you described.
