Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1987 ford F150. Currently I am experience an issue where the starter
won't disengage until the battery is disconnected. I replaced the solenoid and
the starter which has not solved the issue. Kind of at the end of my rope with
ideas for this. Any suggestions??

If the solenoid is getting power to the wire that causes it to activate you probably have a bad ignition switch.
