Check the fuel pump, the fuel pump relay and fuse. Also check the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel filter.

Did you check before or after the fuel filter?

If you have dual tanks check the tank change electronic valve. Mine did that, and the valve that changes from rear to front gas tanks was getting hot and shutting down the fuel supply. I disconnected the valve and the rear tank, running the gas line straight from the front tank, and have never had anymore problems.

I had the same problem and i took it to a shop where they took the front/ rear tank switch out completely. It leaked but the leak was slow enough all i could do is smell gas. didnt even think of the switch going bad
