will not idle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

truck wants to quit running when i leave off the gas.the engine is a 5.0 efi.131,000 miles.it was just tuned up about 300 miles ago.starts right up in the morning but won't keep idilng.
                              need help bad

Hello fish-- There's a lot of things that it could be. You don't sound like you plan on fixing it yourself, so bring it to the best mechanic you know of. I would guess it might be either the Idle Speed Control Actuator or the Throttle Position Sensor. That is the best diagnosis that I can give you without actually seeing it. Let me know what you find.
