Truck wont start

I was driving it down the road to the store and it
died at a red light I want to crank on it to start it
cranks and cranks wont start check if your fuel the
fuel is going to the carburetor the starter solenoid
gets hot and it wont start its not getting fire need
help trying to get some answers would be wrong
with it

What could be wrong with my truck it won't start it cranks over and over is getting fuel and the starter solenoid on the positive side gets hot
