seafoam into 1980 f-150 carb. 5.0 automat. 2-wd system flush which vac port to inject product

Put Lucas oil stabilizer and next day it's pinging under load at acceleration.  Sits and idles fine. timing, fuel, octane good.  It says consult with AE certified to determine which vac will evenly distribute to all cylanders....

Did you put the stabilizer in the oil, or in the gas tank? The octane is NOT fine if it pings under load. If your gas tank is not full, try filling it with higher octane and see if it still pings.

I did still pings, seafoamed brake booster hose and added a can to the tank and some in the crankcase went for a hard ride and smoked out a bunch of stuff. Changed oil and filter and now ping has turned into knock on accel. under load. Currently patching light exhaust leak and will see...
