Question type: General

Just bought a '69 Corvette with original 15 X 8 Wheels. Want to know what size tires looks closest to original, best fit and drives best. Primary use as a driver. When purchased had oversize wheels & tires, but previous owner said it did not drive as well as with originals. Any suggestions?

original tire size for the car was "F70x15". this obviously isnt how tires are sized anymore these days. i dont know how to convert that size to todays sizes, but im sure someone at a tire shop will be able to get you that original size by ordering it or they may know the conversion.
