A chipmunk has moved into my classic car. How can I get rid of him.

I had a field mouse make his home in the heater vents once, I tried to scare him out , I tried moth balls, then I bought a live small animal trap and baited it. He went in there one night and I took him back to the bush. Guess you could bait a rat trap too but that would end up with one dead chippy.
