whats it worth?

My father in law has a 1978 chev malibu that was his mothers when she lived in florida.  It is in awsome shape and has only 35,600 actual miles on it.  Does anyone have an idea as to what it is worth?

What kind of Malibu is it? 4 door? 2 door? landau? wagon? estate? etc etc Need some more information and some pics would be GREAT. Is it v6, v8, automatic, 4 speed? I am assuming it is a v6 automatic 4 door malibu. Am I close? If so, depending on the actual body quality and interior quality and how it runs i would think anywhere in the 2000-3000 dollar range.

2 door is worth more than a 4 door. most guys today just want them for the body .for a 2 door about 2500, a 4 door about 1200.
