hood luver option for the ss 427 69 impala????

i have a 69 impala ss 427 convertible, I bought it used 32 years ago. It has hood luvers and I was wondering if that could have been a factory option or not??? The only pictures i've seen of these luvers were on the 69 ss camaro. I was hoping my car was an original.

It's funny; it seems almost like somebody took a Camaro hood and stuck it on the Impala. I don't think that hood louvers were offered on the 69 Impala. Only 2455 of the 427's were sold, so your car is very unique regardless of aftermarket pieces. =)
