Engine swap

I am wondering if my 1966 Oldsmobile f85 330
engine can be installed as a replacement engine
for my 1967 chevrolet Impala?and what would all
be involved in doing this? Because unfortunately
the original 283 engine that was in my Impala is
blown and I have a friend who is a backyard
mechanic who is doing the work on it,but I don't
have the money to have it done at a shop or the
money to buy another engine,and I really want to
get my Impala back on the road.

Hey I have seen with my own eye a 450 WILDCAT (olds) put into a 69 GTO, they put rear end after rear end and even tried a #2 race'ing rear end and every time they punched it hard it blew them out, there would be to much for you to change to use that motor , find a chep ass grand prix with good motor and trans for a few 100 dollars and use that motor heck body can be trash ,could find one that was totaled in rear end , point is don't change much on your classic car,,keep all good parts off blowen motor and get new bottom end when you can afford it that is if the body and Int. on impala is sweet, if you can do trade for 283 then do it that is if you can find one
