My quarter panels are in good shape on my 67  impala Fastback, but the trunks rain "gutter" lip edge is rusted beyond belief!  Any suggestions on this??

Patch panels. Cut out the old metal and weld in a patch panel. The lip you need can be found here: http://www.impalas.com/auto-body-parts/body-panels/trunk-and-rear/?p=2 , "package tray and trunk opening panel," or "rear deck lid opening panel" or "Weatherstrip Channel, Steel" or "Tail Panel Set, With Lower Weatherstrip," something there might meet your needs, just cut what you need out of one of those.
