Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 1989 Chevy Caprice 305?

hi Misty, The fuel filter on the 89 Caprice is located inbetween the fuel line and the carburator. Follow the fuel line until you come to a black plastic box, located inside that is the fuel filter with clips on the inside to hold it in.

hi mz phat, first of all there's 2 fuel filters 1 topside the second one underneath the right rear of the car which is a few inches away from the gas tank itself it's shaped like a tiny barrell with clamps on each end that's your primary the secondary is located on the carb's housing itself 5/8 bolt casing with 9/16 pipe slip

mid ways on the passenger side of the car, just infront of the rear tire... and if u swap for a 350, everything bolts straight up i would keep the throttle body off the 305 and place it on the 350. other than that, everything is what it is...perfect
