Hey 78 Caprice. This sounds like a job that a Chilton's manual can handle. You will probably have pretty good luck at your local library finding the Chilton's for your model year and you may get a pretty detailed answer for the cost of a couple of 25-cent copies. Barring that, here's a link to your car's manual on Amazon.com ( http://www.amazon.com/Chiltons-Repair-Tune-Up-Guide-Chevrolet/dp/0801973139/sr=8-6/qid=1169567705/ref=sr_1_6/105-3350565-6141202?ie=UTF8&s=books ) . Good luck!
