I just bought 89 blazer and the alarm system is draining the battery.  How can I disconnect the alarm?

pull the fuse. Is it wired in to any vidals (starter or fuel)? then if it is you might have to do a little wiring. Or you could take it to an alarm shop and ask them for the ceapest disconnect. Best of luck

you said pull the fuse is there a lable on the fuse. nothing says security alarm on it

I have a 2001 chevy blazer 4dw LS. The manufacturer alarm doesn't work. What could be the problem, also if I decide to upgrade what alarm system would you recommend.
