Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I went thru the charging system, starter, alternator , and battery and the truck still wont start, I am wondering if it could be the ignition switch which was replaced last year

Sounds like a distributor problem. I had the same problem on my '85 chev 4x4. Thing is, I went thru 5 new distributors before I finally tried the distributor from a late 60's chevy pickup. It worked like a charm. Something about a little slack in a new distributor's armature. Go figure. Check the salvage yards and give it a shot.
