1987 fuel pump problems

car will not start, I do not hear the fuel pump turn on and I think I need a new fuel pump in my 1987 astro but im not sure how to check if it is the relay or the pump

Good way would be to test the fuel pressure. A lot of vacuum gauges also have fuel pressure gauge built into them. Lot of videos about fuel pressure testing.... have fuel pressure, fuel pump is good. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peh7-pFycyc
