can a manual and automatic tercel alternators be interchangeable

yes as long as their the same year range i do not think tercels had any motor options ex: 1.6 or 1.8 either way these two are interchangable transmission wont make a difference when it comes to alternators their the same across the board.

just make sure the one your car needs and the one you're buying produce the same amperage and you're golden

the name of the part slipps my mind at the moment but there are 2 alternators for the 3ac engine. One has this part internaly and one doesnt. if your near an autozone the guys there should beable to help you out with it.
