How to remove battery?

Asked by nunyon Mar 18, 2011 at 12:32 PM about the 1985 Chevrolet Corvette

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can you walk me through step by step on how to remove the battery.  It has a fan and equipment that seeming need to be removed first. Is that correct?

Yea, u have to take the side panel off....no big deal when u realize how it comes out...one big tip though is be careful with the side panel each time u remove it and put back on. I mean that. Also take advice and fix the reason the.battery went dead in first place or u will get more headaches from that side panel n inside weelwheel where they attach with the nuts.
