Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my uncles got a nice 96 chevy corvette T-top and im gettin it at 17. he brought me with him for a test run, but befor that, the battery died. for some reason the car would not start, and the last time he rode it was last week. he thought there was maybe something on in the car that wasnt set to off, or if the bettery just blew. we had to transfor power from his 11 hyundi sonata and it worked. im wondering if anyone could explain? it would help me because im still learning about this stuff. thanks!

If you were able to jump it with another vehicle. It should just need another battery. I would have your battery tested. Alot of times Batteries will work fine one moment and be dead the next. It also could be a dead cell in the battery.
