what is engine type diesal or gasoline

IS Corolla 1982 came with disal engine or only gasoline?

i mean this corolla when released is also available with diesal engine?

As far as my knowledge is concern, yes it is. IS Corolla first generation was actually introduced in October 1966 with the new 1100 cc K pushrod engine. The Corolla Sprinter was introduced as the fastback version in 1968.

The first Corolla Diesel was introduced in 1984 thru 1987. No other USA bound Corollas were diesels.
