1990 toyota camry license plate lights go out when I apply brakes

when I have my lights on if I apply the brakes the license plate lights and the inner 2 lights ( closest to the license plates) go out. Ive replace both license plate lights, all fuses are fine.  Any suggestions???

You probably need to check the wiring of the lights. Such problems usualy occur due to loose connection/ loose earth. Hope it will help

Yes most likely a wiring/connector issue. Check any ground wires you can find in the light and trunk area. Check all the plug connectors that are in that area as well.
