Dear cathyj-- There is no doubt that the problem with your 1991 Totota Previa is electrical. Since electrical systems on cars are as fussy as three kids in the back seat, I always recommend that my questioners take it to a professional for repair. A good mechanic will get to the root of this problem very quickly and guarantee the work he did to repair it. Good luck from Bovan.
