Stalling

Asked by kvogler Jan 10, 2009 at 11:46 AM about the 1994 Toyota Corolla

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How best to determine cause of problem? Car runs fine when on highway. Stopped at light and stalling occurs. Guess is carb related or fuel filter. Where can I get a diagram that shows specific whereabouts of these parts?

You would probably have the best luck if you bought a Haynes repair manual for your model year of Corolla. That should tell you where everything is located. Good Luck.

Chances are your fuel filter is somewhere along the fuel line near the gas tank. Your carburetor would be right on top of your engine block.
