When I turn the key to start my car it lags for 2 sec. then it starts. It makes the it wants to turn on sound you know "choo, choo" then dies out, and then the car turns on. Why is this happening?

Could it be my sparkplugs are bad, or the battery isn't no good anymore? Not really sure was hoping you can help out. Thanks appreciate it.

Start by checking the battery and charging systems if these check out OK I have had luck with similar complaints with removing the vsv valve that Is part of the egr system and cleaning the carbon build up.this isn't guaranteed But I've had luck with this simple service with similar complaints
