Trouble with my camry i need help?

My camry broke down yesterday but i cant manage to find the problem. i change the airfilter earlier that day from the standard airfilter to a podfilter i got from supercheap auto's. i changed it all everything bolted on perfectly but i disconnected the airflow metre from the old airfilter and left it off then about 10minutes of driving later it broke down just died!? i plugged the airflow metre back in but it still wont start? any helpful ideas?
would be great if someone manages to tell me the problem cause the mechanic doesnt know what;s happened?
its a 1994 Toyota Camry CSI

Dont worry guys i have found the problem it is a fuel blockage between the fuel filter in the front and the fuel pump in the rear. changing the airfilter was just a coincedence
